Key Privacy Commitment: SalaTune processes all audio data locally on your device. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio to our servers. Your practice sessions and tuning activities remain private on your device.

Welcome to SalaTune, developed and operated by MeÅŸk Music Technologies ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application SalaTune (the "App"). This policy applies to our App available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play Store) platforms.

By using SalaTune, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our App.

Audio Data: SalaTune does NOT record, store, or transmit any audio from your device's microphone. All pitch detection and tuning analysis is performed locally on your device in real-time. No audio leaves your device.

Account Credentials: We do not collect usernames, passwords, or display names. SalaTune does NOT have any account, login, or authentication system.

    • Instrument type (oud, tanbur, kabak kemane, etc.)

    • Makams studied and their frequency

    • Tuning systems used

  • Microphone Access (Required): Essential for pitch detection and tuning functionality. Audio is processed in real-time on your device and is never recorded or transmitted.

Most of your data is stored locally on your device using Flutter's secure storage mechanisms:

  • Local Data: Remains on your device until you delete the app or manually clear it

  • Email Addresses: Retained while you're subscribed to our mailing list and deleted within 30 days after unsubscription

  • Analytics Data: Retained for up to 2 years for app improvement purposes

Note: Disabling microphone access will prevent core tuning functionality.

SalaTune is suitable for all ages, including children learning Turkish music. However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction) without parental consent.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will delete such information.

SalaTune mobile app does not use cookies or web tracking technologies. However, if you visit our website or use web-based services, we may use:
